Does my pet need a Health Certificate for animal transportation?
Yes! Unlike some pet transportation companies, our scheduled dog transport service and cat delivery services must have a veterinarian signed (APHIS form 7001), Health Certificate, a State Health Certificate, or a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection for interstate travel.
NOTE: Although also used for international pet transportation, the APHIS form 7001 DOES NOT require the signature of a USDA licensed veterinarian for interstate pet transport. Any Licensed veterinarian may fill out and sign APHIS form 7001, and is good for thirty (30) days before a pet travels.
Will my pet travel with other animal transports?
Yes, unless you’ve booked a private dog transport or a private cat transport. Our professional pet transporters travel with four-to-six pets, all with valid Health Certificates.
How is my pet transported?
We offer cat and dog transport ground services. Your dog transport service cross country or cat transport cross country, will be in a Certified Pet Travel Carrier (rated either 60 or 90 lbs), with plenty of room to stand up, turn around, and stretch. We maintain temperature-controlled vehicles (Mercedes Sprinter 2500 or Chevy Suburban), and secure all animal carriers.
Does your dog delivery company transport extra-large dog breeds?
Yes, we require clients to provide the 125-150 lb. dog travel carrier of which we will purchase (new), and be reimbursed upon pick-up. Pricing will reflect the additional size requirements and the time to purchase and set-up the carrier.

“Our two French Bulldogs are always excited when Preferred Pet Express shows up. Even though nine months have gone by, our boys can’t wait to get in the van and on the road. We meet up with them 3,000 miles later on the opposite coast every summer. They always arrive happy and healthy. Thanks!”
“We wouldn’t trust our twelve-year-old Bernedoodle with anyone else. Trips back and forth to Florida have become a breeze thanks to you.”
